I have been drawing and painting as long as I can remember, I have a lifelong affair with art. A painting which I did when I was in Junior high school still hangs in the corporate offices of Lever Brothers Ltd. in India. I spent my evenings doing sculptures or drawing and painting. Even during my engineering career I studied art in my spare time. I studied Landscape painting in Utah. I studied under Master pastelist Daniel Green, Seascapes under Earl Robinson, Still life under Master artist David Le Fell and Greg Kruetz, Watercolor under Tim Clark, Figures in oil under Frank Truhillo and host of other artists.

I like Still life, since it provides me with a tranquil feeling. My Still Life paintings are based on Chiarusco, bringing out light from dark. My Still Life paintings are bright and eye catching. I also do Landscapes and Sea Scapes which depicts the feeling of solitude.

I have recently turned my attention to historical paintings from Shah Name, a Persian Epic. I aim to do these paintings in the style of old Masters rather than the Islamic style which the current Sahah Name paintings are depicted.
